The ingredients in the Dapper Daily supplement were hand-selected by Dapper's team of in-house doctors. The team considered the effects of each ingredient in the body and reviewed relevant research, including how likely it is for men to be deficient in certain ingredients.
When determining the dose of each ingredient, the team started by looking at each ingredient's Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), made available by the Office of Dietary Supplements at the National Institutes of Health. The RDA represents the daily amount of a vitamin or mineral that is considered sufficient for 97-98% of healthy individuals. Dapper's team of in-house doctors also ensured that no doses exceed the Tolerable Upper Intake Level of any ingredient, which is the maximum daily dose of that ingredient above which side effects are more likely.

You should take two tablets per day with food. Taking the supplement with food will help the body absorb vitamins A, D, and E. If you are unable or do not want to take both tablets at the same time, you may divide the dose and take one at a time. For example, you may take one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the evening. Do not take more than two tablets in a 24-hour period.
It is not recommended that you take more than two tablets of the Dapper Daily supplement per day. Doing so increases your risk of experiencing side effects and may even be dangerous for your health. The Institute of Medicine publishes the Tolerable Upper Intake Levels (UL) for many nutrients. The UL indicates the “maximum daily intake unlikely to cause adverse health effects” for these nutrients. Most of the ingredients in the Dapper Daily supplement have published ULs. Therefore, taking more than two tablets per day increases your chance of exceeding the ULs and experiencing side effects.
If you accidentally miss a dose, you can either take it when you remember or you can wait until the next day to resume the supplement. It does not matter what time of day you take the supplement. However, to avoid going over the Tolerable Upper Intake Level for any of the ingredients, you should not take more than two tablets in a 24-hour period.
The FDA does not approve dietary supplements, like the Dapper Daily. However, Dapper Daily is manufactured according to the FDA's current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP). All our supplements are formulated by our in-house doctors with carefully sourced, high-quality ingredients.
Lycopene is a natural pigment molecule that can be found in plants. It is classified as a carotenoid and it gives plants a bright red color. Lycopene also acts as an antioxidant. The Dapper Daily supplement contains 10 mg per day of lycopene.
Pygeum bark extract, or some research suggests that Pygeum africanum may promote normal urinary flow. The Dapper Daily supplement contains 100 mg per day of Pygeum africanum.
Having low iron levels is rare for men. In fact, according to the American Academy of Family Physicians, only 2% of adult men have iron deficiency anemia. Individuals who are at risk of iron deficiency anemia include pregnant women, women with heavy menstrual bleeding, children, frequent blood donors, and people with certain chronic diseases such as cancer, gastrointestinal disease, and heart failure. Supplementing with iron may also lead to side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, and abdominal pain. Taking higher doses (>25 mg) can decrease the absorption of zinc in the gut, and very high doses can lead to organ failure, loss of consciousness, and death.
For these reasons, the Dapper Daily supplement does not contain iron.
Vitamin K is a group of fat-soluble vitamins that are involved in several of the body's processes. Vitamin K has important health benefits, such as playing a role in bone health and heart health. One of the functions of vitamin K is the production of proteins involved in blood clotting. As a result, vitamin K directly interacts with a medication called warfarin (brand name Coumadin), a blood thinner commonly prescribed to people with blood clots or atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat). People taking warfarin should not consume vitamin K without consulting a healthcare professional.
For this reason, the Dapper Daily supplement does not contain vitamin K.
Yes, the Dapper Daily supplement is gluten-free.
No, the Dapper Daily supplement does not contain soy.
The vitamin E in the supplement is derived from highly refined soybean oil. Under the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act, highly refined oils and any derived ingredients are exempt from allergen labeling requirements. Research suggests that refined oils do not pose a risk of triggering allergic reactions in the majority of susceptible people.
No, the Dapper Daily supplement does not contain eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, wheat, or soy.

The Dapper Daily supplement can be taken in combination with Dapper's Stress Relief supplement, and Dapper's Prostate Health supplement.
The Dapper Daily supplement should not be taken in combination with Dapper's Heart Health supplement. Doing so exceeds the upper limit of magnesium that should be consumed through supplements each day, which increases the risk of side effects such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and nausea.
The Dapper Daily supplement should also not be taken in combination with Dapper's Testosterone Support supplement. Doing so exceeds the upper limits of magnesium and zinc that should be consumed through supplements each day, which increases the risk of side effects.
The doses of each vitamin and mineral have been specifically chosen to minimize the chances of experiencing side effects. However, side effects are possible. The Dapper Daily supplement has not been tested to establish a side effect profile.
Possible side effects of supplementing with lycopene include low blood pressure, increased risk of bleeding, and gastrointestinal issues. Possible side effects of supplementing with Pygeum africanum include constipation, diarrhea, headache, and nausea.
If you are experiencing worrisome side effects, stop taking the supplement immediately and speak to a healthcare professional. You can also contact our Care Team to report your side effects.
The individual ingredients in the Dapper Daily supplement are generally well tolerated and the supplement is safe for most adult men. However, there are certain people who should refrain from use or should use caution due to possible interactions with medical conditions or medications. For example, people with Wilson disease should not take supplements that contain copper. If you have a health condition or are taking medication and have questions about whether the Dapper Daily supplement is safe for you, talk to a healthcare professional before taking the supplement.
It is likely safe for women to take the Dapper Daily supplement. However, the supplement was designed with men in mind, and the doses were chosen based on the Recommended Dietary Allowances for men. Additionally, there is currently no information regarding the safety of Pygeum africanum supplementation during pregnancy. Women who are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding should talk to a healthcare professional before taking supplements that contain Pygeum africanum.
The Dapper Daily supplement has a peppermint flavor, which comes from peppermint oil in the tablet's coating.
